FIELD: construction and running of supports of contact network on sections of swelling soils in permafrost regions and in regions of deep seasonal freezing. SUBSTANCE: novelty of approach consists in implementation of antiswelling fixture in the form of sun-and-precipitation shed and antiswelling rim. Sun-and-precipitation shed is produced from galvanized profiled deck and frost-resistant heat insulation material, is located around support in zone with radius not less than depth of seasonal soil thawing and has height not less than thickness of snow cover, not less than 0.5 m. Antiswelling rim comes in the form of protective mantle made of frost-resistant composite material, predominantly polymer material, placed around part of support worked deeper into soil on section from day surface to depth equal to 0.50.6 depth of seasonal soil thawing and non-freezing grease placed between mantle and part of support worked deeper into soil. Upper surface of shed and section of support protruding above it are painted to height of 0.5-1.0 m with light-reflecting paint. EFFECT: increased stability of support erected on swelling soils by reduction of effect of forces of frost swelling on support in season-thawed layer, growth of forces counteracting its freezing with permafrost soils. 1 dwg
