FIELD: ion physics and fast-ion interaction physics. SUBSTANCE: proposed device is designed for producing directed beams of liquid-metal nanoclaster ions obtained by way of desorption from nanodispersed targets with aid of single multiplecharge ions of 252Cf type fission fragments measuring between units and tens of nm with narrow dimensional distribution. Use is made of target electrode with nanodispersed target in the form of combination of metal nanoblocks measuring in average between units and tens of nm which are deposited on substrate secured by means of conical holder and sealed spectrometer source of 252Cf fission fragments disposed in parallel with target at distance not over 2 mm; newly introduced in device are pulling electrode made in the form of diaphragm with conical bulge on target holder end and grounded electrode, both ensuring focusing of liquid-metal nanoclaster ion beam in electrode plane and its acceleration to various energies. EFFECT: provision for producing nanoclaster ions of predetermined mean size between units and tens of nm with narrow dimensional distribution. 1 cl, 4 dwg
