FIELD: chemical metal treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention provides method wherein carbon steel intended for machine parts is subjected to boronizing at 940 C for 3 h in container provided with fusible seal consisting of saturation mixture, in particular 100% B4C. After boronizing, metallic surface is affected by electron beam in vacuum (2×10-3 Pa) for 15-50 sec with specific power 2.9×104 W/cu.cm. EFFECT: achieved strengthening of machine parts.
