FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to steady sliding bearings, namely, to bearing with segment shell and it can be used as support of hinge-speed shafts, particularly, shafts of steam turbines. Proposed segment shell of steady bearing contains shell body accommodating at least one support and centering segments, at least one oil channel passing through shell body, channels to deliver oil to shaft in space between segments, and oil drain channels. Pocket is formed in lower half of shell body from side of support segment. Said pocket is connected with oil channel and is overlapped by partition made with channels to deliver oil to shaft. Channels to drain oil are laid at side diametrically opposite to channel in lower half of shell body. EFFECT: reduced consumption of oil. 2 cl, 3 dwg
