FIELD: medicine, preparative biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for isolation of protein fractions, in part, high density lipoprotein (HDLP) fraction from plasma or serum blood and can be used for determination of fractional-component composition of lipoproteins in diagnosis of dyslipoproteinemia. Plasma or serum blood samples are heated at temperature 70-100 C for time providing milk color of samples. Formed protein gel is milled, centrifuged and supernatant containing fraction of HDLP particles is taken off. The most optimal result is obtained if samples of plasma or serum blood are heated at temperature 80-90 C for 2-10 min. Method provides reduction of labor intensity and time of process, it doesn't require the expensive cost equipment and chemically active reagents, it doesn't pollute the final preparative form, it doesn't destroy nativity of HDLP particles and it doesn't distort results of analysis of fractional-component composition of lipoproteins. EFFECT: improved isolation method. 4 cl, 1 tbl, 2 dwg, 2 ex
