PRESSURE REGULATOR Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: automatic control over gas pressure in automotive, gas, power, chemical and other branches of industry and agriculture. SUBSTANCE: pressure regulator includes body with inlet branch pipe in lower part. Outlet branch pipe is made fast to body. Sensitive element with rigid center and regulating element coming in the form of nozzle and gate are positioned in body. There is rod one end of which is coupled to rigid center and loading spring meant to load rigid center of sensitive element. Space above rigid center of sensitive element is sealed, is fitted with elastic envelope and is filled with incompressible working medium. Loading spring is equipped with plunger which one end rests on elastic envelope of above-mentioned space. Gate is made fast to outer surface of rod. Body is provided with threaded band meant for connection to gas cylinder and filling branch pipe of the latter placed above threaded band of body. Outlet branch pipe is located on body opposite to filling branch pipe of cylinder. Given pressure regulator makes it feasible to unload gas line from pressure of cylinder and form compact gas cylinder fuel supply system.
