FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves ligating general and exterior carotid. Articulator is intravasally introduced to the median cerebral artery level. The left general carotid is pierced above the ligation place. Articulator is introduced into the internal cerebral artery via the general carotid. Sterile catgut chromized thread 5.0 is applied as articulator. The articulator is fixed in ligating the left general carotid above the perforation place and the general carotid on the other side is ligated. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in approximating natural course of ischemic insult development; high reproducibility degree; reduced injury scale. 1 dwg, 4 tbl
