FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: occluder is introduced into the middle cerebral artery from the side of focal ischemia modeling. The external carotid and common carotid arteries are isolated and clamped; the wall of the common carotid artery is perforated above the clipping site and an occluder made of a monofilament synthetic resorbable suture material based on polyclocalide is introduced into the middle cerebral artery along the general and internal carotid arteries. Then the common carotid artery is clamped from the opposite side.
EFFECT: method allows to reduce traumatism and increase method reproducibility, which is achieved due to the sequence of the above methods.
