FIELD: applicable in reconditioning of worn parts. SUBSTANCE: method includes preliminary machining of worn surfaces; additional machining of plain bearing internal cylindrical surface with jet of abrasive particles and deposition of aluminum bronze powder to said surface by flame spraying with its subsequent fusing to obtain coating 0.3-2.0 mm thick; machining to nominal size; degreasing of bearing external cylindrical surface and application of anaerobic polymer to it. EFFECT: higher efficiency due to production of minimal antifriction layer on bearing internal surface and increased damping properties of bearing due to reconditioning of bearing external surface with polymer material. 1 tbl
