FIELD: veterinary virology, biotechnology. SUBSTANCE: vaccine against O-type foot-and-mouth disease comprises avirulent and purified antigenic material as immunogenic components of O₁-type of foot-and-mouth disease virus of the strain "Primorsky- 2000-DEP", adjuvant and maintaining medium taken in the effective ratios. The strain is deposited in the collection VGNKI at registration = 1734 "Primorsky-2000-DEP". Virus is reproduced in suspension culture of cells VNK-21 using aminoethylethyleneimine as an inactivating agent taken in the concentration 0.025-0.05%. For purification of an antigen suspension from inert impurities polyhexamethylene guanidine is used in the concentration 0.005- -0.007%. For preparing adsorbate-vaccine from adjuvants aluminum hydroxide gel is used and saponin additionally and oily adjuvant is used as an emulsion vaccine. For preparing adsorbate and emulsion vaccine an antigenic material is used with content of immunogenic (146S + 75S) components of foot-and- mouth virus at least 4.0 mcg/ml. Vaccine shows the enhanced immunogenic activity, it provides protection against foot-and-mouth virus of O-type in South-East Asia countries and Far East.
