FIELD: electrical cleaning of waste gases from dispersed suspensions; electrostatic precipitators with combined electron-ion technology in various industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed electrostatic precipitator is based on tension of corona-forming electrodes in frames in horizontal rows. In center portion of each frame, electrodes are connected by means of non-corona-shaping vertical rods whose upper edges are secured by means of shaking beam with anvils. Lower ends of separate frames with corona-forming electrodes are connected by transversal guides whose positions are fixed by diagonal stops. Upper suspension of corona-forming systems is provided with movable rod with strikers. Electrostatic precipitator includes receiving electrodes made from profile members forming through-way passages, corona-forming electrodes with needle-type discharge projections which are tightened in frame in horizontal rows; frame is provided with suspension unit and shaking mechanism, gas-permeable partitions which are properly positioned at definite areas of holes on side of inlet and outlet of gas passages.
