FIELD: radiation measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: detector includes optically matched photocathode, unit of position-sensitive amplifiers, anode electrically connected in series with amplifier, charge measurement unit, unit determining coordinates, unit to store, process and visualize signals, unit of intermediate control frequency connected in series with wideband amplifier and time measuring unit. Detector is supplemented with unit of preliminary radiation processing, coordinate correction unit, time-coordinate unit, unit measuring full charge, time-amplitude correction unit, time correction unit, analyzer and decision making unit. Coordinate correction unit and time-coordinate unit connected in series are placed between unit determining coordinates and unit to store, process and visualize signals. EFFECT: expanded functional potential of detector, its increased output characteristics: ( time determination and coordinates of radiation quanta precision ) which in its turn improves quality of detected image. 10 cl, 4 dwg
