Field: metal cutting, possibly deep peripheral finish grinding of materials having tendency for flaw occurring at controlling heat flux directed into part. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes builtup abrasive wheel with large-grain and small-grain cutting organs being ring-shaped and springy ones. Ends of said cutting organs are mutually superimposed and they are tightened by means of tension spring. Middle portion of large-grain organ is fixed to body of apparatus; its ends are drawn apart by means of lengthwise motion mechanism in order to convert ring-shaped working surface to helical one. Said mechanism is in the form of elastic bottle. Small-grain organ is joined with radial motion mechanism in the form of tore bottle. Such structure allows to change rough mode to semifinish and finish modes during grinding process.
