FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to centrifugal plants with vertical gas static supports. Proposed plant contains housing, working member, vertical gas static support unit with bearing surfaces in form of part of sphere step bearing of which is provided with hole to deliver gas to bearing surfaces. Plant contains also gas supply system coupled with step bearing, drive, shaft connecting step of gas static support unit and working member, bearing unit installed on shaft, flexible mechanical support connecting bearing unit and housing. Flexible mechanical support consists of movable and fixed support bases and flexible support member. EFFECT: improved operation reliability owing to prevention of friction between step and step bearing. 1 dwg
