FIELD: image processing for its magnification and/or reduction, or for contour correction. SUBSTANCE: proposed processor that enables processing images for their magnification and/or reduction as well as contour correction irrespective of chosen processing has erasable programmable read-only memory for saving data on image magnifying and reducing factors, controllers for reading out these data in compliance with choice signal, filters with variable characteristic of horizontal and vertical directions of image change, respectively, frame memory device, contour correction circuit, and selectors. When image magnification is chosen by selectors, input video signal is processed by contour correction circuit, frame memory device, and filters as they are mentioned; when image reduction is chosen, similar video signal processing is effected in reverse sequence.
