SUBSTANCE: the furnace has screened walls with outlet embrasures provided with screens and connected to the nozzle embrasures with independent ducts and control valves, water-wall tubes installed in a spaced relation to the embrasure screens and the nozzles are positioned inside the embrasure symmetrically relative to the nozzles, and a lighting-up burner, the embrasures are made in the form of a vertical chute including the burners of the vertical block, with side frames installed at an angle to each other equal to the angle of flame divergence, the water-wall tubes installed inside the embrasures are made of vertical flat gas-proof platens installed in parallel with the side walls of the embrasures, the distance between the inlet end faces of the platens exceeds the width of the nozzles of the burners, and the lighting-up burner is installed in the axis of the vertical block of the burners on the lower end face of the embrasure, clearances are provided between the outlet end faces of the platens and the well screens, the end faces of the wall screens are brought in between the platens and bent inside the platens, the distance between the bent end faces of the wall screens is not less than the distance between inlet end faces of the platens, the burners are made in the form of bell mouths, the nozzles of the air nozzles in the form of flat slots directed to the clearances between the bent end faces of the arrangement of the wall-mounted valves and platens.
