FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-and-power engineering. The technical result is achieved in a furnace comprising a central and at least one peripheral combustion chambers divided by a screen and connected by a by-pass opening; an outlet end of the burner device is placed in the peripheral combustion chamber made as a muffle, the peripheral combustion chamber is of equilateral rectangular parallelepiped shape and the outlet end of the burner device is fitted into the parallelepiped inside so that to closely contact with its walls and form gaps at its corners; secondary air nozzles and pilot burners are set in and along the corners cocurrent to the flow; the wide splitter base is located in the plane of the wide diffuser base with the diffuser diametre being equal to the diametre of the circle inscribed in the parallelepiped.
EFFECT: ensuring effective lighting up of a boiler with a highly concentrated powder and fast fuel combustion due to preheating of the powder in the glowing muffle of the peripheral combustion chamber by flat fuel supply directly to the muffle wall.
