FIELD: industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: process intended to be used in nuclear material processing and other applications is accomplished via two-step fluorination of chlorine-containing reactants with elementary fluorine, in the first step subject of fluorination being sodium or calcium chloride to give gaseous chlorine/chlorine monofluoride mixture, which is, after separation of solid particles, brought into the second fluorination step.
