FIELD: production, repair, recovery or reconstruction of the composite item. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of production, repair, restoration or reconstruction of an item with a fault on its surface or along the whole its thickness , that should be corrected or eliminated. The method of recovery or reconstruction of the composite item containing a spongy layer, (for example, a cellular material), that has a fault, damaging the item provides for the following measures taken in series: a) placing on a bottom of the defect at least one additional element or material, the form and dimensions of which correspond to the form and dimensions of the defect; b) insert a substituting spongy part into the defect; c) place on the elements transferred in the defect, in succession one above the other, for example, layers of a textile fabric for a drainage of the gases evolved from resins during stage (d), and a shell for removal of the indicated gases, that forms with the other part of the item a chamber hermetically sealed in regard to the outside atmosphere surrounding the defect and the above additional elements. and d) prolonging to pump off the hermetically sealed chamber they should heat up the additional element. The additional element or the above indicated material contain the continuous or cut fibers, mechanically strong, organized or unorganized, that should be placed on the defect bottom, separately or in appropriate way in respect to the fibers of the above indicated element or material; then they place the first resin, to produce on the stage d) a polymeric matrix, in which the indicated fibers are distributed. Substituting spongy part is made, for example, in the form of a cellular material. The second resin with, at least, one element made out of a fabric with the continuous or cut fibers is placed on the outer area of a spongy part. The second resin is applied separately or in appropriate way in regard to fibers of the above indicated element. The source of radiation used to heat up the additional element is an infrared source. It is placed in respect to the defect so that to irradiate a shell for discharge of the gases evolving from the polymeric matrix and provided that the above radiation source acts on the far side of the spongy part. EFFECT: the method allows to receive a monolithic item, which does not decompose. 15 cl, 5 dwg
