SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of manufacturing wind turbine blades from sandwich structures. Composite material is described for sandwich structures for the manufacture of lightweight blades of a wind generator, including fibers of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and glass fibers, impregnated with a polymeric binder, in which the polymeric binder is modified with nanofillers. Lightweight wind turbine blade is also described.

EFFECT: technical result: composite material provides increased service life, increased reliability, specific strength and energy efficiency of the wind generator.
