FIELD: shaping of complex-profile surfaces. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of applying potential difference between cathode-tool and anode-blank of steel alloyed with metals of V - VI groups of periodic system of elements; providing forced oscillations of cathode-tool synchronized with voltage pulses applied at mutually approaching electrodes; matching voltage pulse waveform with change of interelectrode gap according to condition of maximum coinciding of electric current waveform with rectangle at reducing voltage in end of voltage pulse from maximum value until value less than electric arc sustaining voltage and sufficient for sustaining potential of anode traspassive dissolving; realizing treatment in 10%-solution of sodium nitrate NaNO3 with consistency 1.062 - 1.067 g/cub.cm at amplitude of pulse voltage 6 - 6.5 V.
