FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: invention relaters to methods of revealing damps ash in biological materials (hay, haulage, silage, etc) and it can be used in researches and at analysis of materials. According to proposed method first weight of voltage or readily decomposing inorganic salt, for instance, ammonium chloride or ammonium nitrate, 0.2-0.3 g, is introduced into weighed crucible and then weight of material to be analyzed in amount of 1.0-1.5 g. Crucible is heated for 1 h in muffle furnace to temperature of 200oC and calcined for 2-2.5 h at temperature of 525- 560oC, then cooled, weighed and result is calculated. EFFECT: reduced time taken for determining content of damp ash (incineration) owing of time of calcinations from 5-6 to 2.0-2.5 h. 2 ex
