FIELD: restoration of worn parts of aluminum alloys. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of building-up of restored surface; mechanically working it and strengthening by means of microarc oxidation; realizing surface building-up by means of electric arc plating at voltage 30 -35 V, electric arc current 310 A while feeding additive wire with speed 8.5 m/min, at compressed air flowrate 2.8 cub. m/min, pressure of compressed air 0.5 - 0.7 MPa during time period of building up equal to 10 -12 min. EFFECT: lowered allowance for mechanically working after building up, improved corrosion resistance, increased efficiency of method due to lowered time period of building up. 1 tbl
