FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reclamation of worn-out parts from ferrous and non-ferrous metals, for example, reclamation of automotive engine cylinder head mounting planes. Proposed method comprises electric-arc metalling is conducted at supersonic rate of air feed from metallising gun spraying head of 400…410 m/s, compressed air pressure of 0.70…0.75 MPa, arc current of 370 A, arc voltage of 25-27 V, and "АМц"-3 filler wire feed rate of 12…13 m/min.
EFFECT: 40%-increase in reclaimed part life.
