FIELD: boiler erection, modification of steam boilers. SUBSTANCE: boiler erection process includes installation of at least two rows of supports carrying supporting frames on foundation; installation of vertical framework supporting columns on mentioned frame at certain distance from each other; construction of supporting frame whose overall dimensions conform to those of boiler framework; supporting frame should be made of at least two longitudinal beams and several cross-beams attached to them; cross-beams and beams are overhung relative to foundation supports of extreme rows. Cross-beams can be rigidly fixed to opposing foundation supports and longitudinal beams, to cross-beams; vertical supporting columns can be mounted on mentioned longitudinal beams of supporting frame.
