PLANT COLD RESISTANCE INCREASING METHOD Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2229215 C1

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, plant growing. SUBSTANCE: method involves soaking seeds in aqueous solution of proline-and-glucose mixture; cooling and providing germination of seeds in wet sand; subjecting sprouts to complex of cold and chemical hardening procedure by spraying with mixture including proline, glucose and saccharose, with following staged cooling in refrigerating chamber under special temperature mode at artificial illumination intensity of 7,000 lux. EFFECT: effective protection of heat-demanding plants from destroying under low positive temperature conditions. 1 tbl
