FIELD: machine engineering, possibly cutting and finishing outer and inner surfaces of metals with use of ultrasonic oscillation energy. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes ultrasonic oscillation irradiator having detachable resonance wave guides designed respectively for cutting metals and for finishing their surfaces. Working tips of resonance wave-guides are respectively in the form of cutter or spherical surface. Boss for mounting apparatus to machine tool has lengthwise slit with bridge; slit includes fixed openings. Strain gage unit and (or) indication system is mounted on surface of said boss. In second variant of invention apparatus is provided in addition with connection member in the form of system of wave-guide links. In third variant of invention connection member is in the form of boring bar. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities of apparatus due to combining procedures of cutting and finishing outer and inner surfaces of metals at using different ultrasonic oscillations, improved quality of worked surfaces. 3 cl, 3 dwg
