FIELD: chemical industry and metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of manufacturing of crucibles out of a carbonic composite material and a device for its realization. The invention is intended for chemical industry and metallurgy and can be used in production of chlorinators and electrolyzers. The method provides, that a voltage is applied to the upper current lead wire 7 and the lower lead wire 8. A current from the upper lead wire 7 is passing through a base part 9 of the skeleton of the crucible 6, the heater 5 and the lower lead wire 8. Carbonic gas through the inlet branch-pipe 2 is fed to the reactor 1. The gas passes from the side of an outer surface of the skeleton of the crucible 6 and leaves through the outlet branch-pipe 3. On a section of the base part 9 of the skeleton of the crucible 6, that is contacting with the upper lead wire 7, the carbonic gas passes through perforation 10 of the upper lead wire. The area of contact of the upper lead wire 7 with the base part 9 is determined from the ratio , that is in 2 -15 times smaller than , where Slw, Sh is a specific electrical resistance of materials of the upper lead wire 7 and the heater 5, ST and SH - orifice size for the current of the upper lead wire 7 and the heater 5. The invention allows to improve quality of production of the large-sized items at the expense of even density of the crucibles base (bottom) and side parts, absence of warps of the base part and also to increase productivity of the process.
