FIELD: medicine, veterinary science, antibiotics, polymers. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymeric combination of antibiotics. Polymeric component of proposed composition represents homogenous polymeric mixture consisting of one or more hydrophobic polymers taken among the group of methacrylic acid polyesters, acrylic acid polyesters, methacrylic acid esters and acrylic acid esters copolymers and one or more hydrophilic polymers taken among the group of polyethers. One or more slightly water-soluble antibiotics among the group of aminoglycoside, lincosamide, tetracycline and quinolone antibiotics are suspended in indicated polymeric mixture. If necessary, easily water-soluble antibiotic taken among the group of aminoglycoside, lincosamide and tetracycline antibiotics is added to the mixture and, if necessary, organic medicinal accessory substance is added also. The content of hydrophilic polymer in the homogenous polymeric mixture is from 0.1 to 60 wt. -%. Under physiological conditions the polymeric antibiotic composite provides continuous releasing antibiotics for period from some days to some weeks and it is useful for applying on surfaces of medicinal synthetic and metallic implants and provides strong adhesion also.
