BACTERICIDAL AGENT BASED ON METAL CHELATE COMPLEX Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2229897 C2

FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bactericidal substances that can be used in medicine, veterinary science and food industry and in manufacturing goods of household designation: cleansing, washing and cosmetic goods. The bactericidal agent comprises chelates compounds of metals. The following compounds are used as a chelate ligand: bi- or polydentate ligands: anions of natural amino acids, or iminodiacetic and nitriletriacetic acids, and also C-substituted (at α-position to carboxyl group) derivatives of iminodiacetic and nitriletriacetic acids with different residues of amino acid fragments without aminocarboxyl group or alkylenediamiopolyacetic acids, and also C-substituted (at α-position to carboxyl group) derivatives of polyalkylene-polyaminopolyacetic acids with different residues of amino acid fragments without aminocarboxyl group, or derivatives of ω-phosphonocarboxylic and ethylenediphosphonotetrapropionic acids, or derivatives of ethylenetetra(thioacetic) and diethylenetrithiodiacetic acid or monoamine chelates wherein carboxyl groups are substituted with phosphonic groups. Ligand eliciting affinity to hydrogen ion is used as a monodentate. Invention provides enhancing antibacterial activity of ecological properties, enhancing resistance to external effect and reduced cost also. EFFECT: valuable properties of agents.
