FIELD: cardiology; prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: proposed prosthesis comprises casing 1 having internal surface 2 which forms passage for direct blood flow 3. Casing 1 houses locking element 5 connected with casing 1 with help of device 6 rotatably movable from its closure position to its opening position and vice versa around pivotal axis 7. Locking element 5 has side surface 8 in form of surface of revolution. Turning device 6 is constituted by two intermeshing elements 9,10. Element 10 divides side surface 8 of locking element 6 into proximal part 11 connected with surface of locking element 5 by proximal conjugation lines 12, and distal part 12 connected with surface of locking element 5 by distal conjugation lines 14. Outer surface 18 of circular casing 1 carries collar 19 having seat surface 20. Surface of each meshing element 10 is made as plurality of portions of one and same surface formed by intersection of toroidal surfaces conjugated with one another and having common axis of revolution of constituent circumferences, said axis of revolution having same direction as pivotal axis 7 of locking element 5. EFFECT: invention offers multiple advantages, viz: improved conditions for cooperating valve elements, reduced traumatism for blood elements, lower risk of thrombus formation, improved hemodynamic properties, enhanced reliability of structure. 10 cl, 9 dwg
