POLYSTYRENE LATEX-BASE IMMUNODIAGNOSTICUM Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2231366 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents used for express-diagnosis of the broad spectrum of diseases and represents immunodiagnosticum based on modified polystyrene latex that comprises cow milk α-casein as an inert protein for saturation of vacant binding centers. Immunodiagnosticum comprises cow milk α-casein as an inert protein taken in the equal volume with modified polystyrene latex in the concentration of α-casein 0.4 mg/ml. This immunodiagnosticum shows the prolonged time fitness and high sensitivity that provides carrying out assay in diluted samples that inhibits arising nonspecific agglutination and preparing reliable results. Depending on the nature of specific protein immobilized on the latex surface the broad spectrum of diagnostica can be obtained that are designated for quantitative determination of fibrin/fibrinogen degradation products and rheumatic factor (Rf) in human serum and plasma blood.

EFFECT: valuable medicinal properties of immunodiagnosticum.
