FIELD: agriculture, plant selection.
SUBSTANCE: explants of potato plants of the strain "Charodey" are co-cultured with the transformed strain A. tumefaciens and placed in the nutrient medium for inducing callus-formation followed by regeneration of fertile transgenic plants from them. Co-culturing is carried out by contact of explants with a paper filter wetted with bacterial suspension for 48 ± 4 h. For induction of callus-formation explants are placed in the nutrient medium containing zeatin taken in the amount 0.1-1.5 mg/l, benzylaminopurine taken in the amount 0.1-1.5 mg/l and naththyl acetic acid taken in the amount 0.005-0.45 mg/l. On the 8-th day explants are placed in medium for regeneration that contains zeatin taken in the amount 0.1-1.5 mg/l, benzylaminopurine taken in the amount 0.1-1.5 mg/l and gibberellic acid (GA3) taken in the amount 0.01-0.05 mg/l. Invention provides elevating yield of transformed plants.
EFFECT: improved preparing method.
