FIELD: replacement of affected natural valves of human heart. SUBSTANCE: valve prosthesis has ring-shaped housing 1 with inner surface 2 forming a passage for direct blood flow along axis 3 of housing that accommodates locking element 4 made in the form of two flaps 5, each of them has concave ascending surface 6 facing ascending blood flow 7, and concave descending surface 8 facing descending blood flow 9, lateral surface 10 and joining surface 11; flaps 5 are linked with housing 1 through element 12, which is located on inner surface 2 of housing 1 and element 13 located on the opposite sides of lateral surface 10 of each flap 5. The center of the radius of ascending surface 6 in diametric section is positioned on a straight line drawn from the point of intersection of ascending surface 6 with joining surface 11 at angle Q1 to joining surface 11 determined from relation: B1< Q1≅ 90°-A,, the center of the radius of descending surface 8 in diametric section is positioned on s straight-line drawn from the point of intersection of descending surface 8 with joining surface 11 at angle Q2 to joining surface 11 determined from relation: B2< Q2≅ 90°-(A-10°), with Q2-Q1 ≥O, and B1-B2 >O. EFFECT: prevented congestion zones and reduced sluggishness of flaps, which prevents thrombogenesis and improves the hemodynamic characteristics of the valve prosthesis. 3 dwg
