FIELD: polymerization processes.
SUBSTANCE: copolymers of tantalum and niobium organometallic compounds are obtained from combined tantalo-niobium concentrate, which is leached with carbon tetrachloride in autoclave at carbon tetrachloride dissociation temperature, whereupon filtration of resulting suspension gives solution containing tantalum and niobium organometallic monomers. Solution is evaporated to remove excess carbon tetrachloride and produce melt of organometallic monomers, which is allowed to cool to normal temperature, in the course of which step continuous solid copolymer of tantalum and niobium organometallic compounds is formed.
EFFECT: increased yield and purity of copolymers.
