FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for filtration. Proposed filter comprises tight cylindrical vessel made from high-strength carrion- and heatproof steel that includes tube with flanges, detachable cover and bottom. Cover and bottom accommodate cylindrical chambers with concentric annular ledges. Sets of filtration elements are secured to said ledges. Said elements comprise perforated support grid made from high-strength carrion- and heatproof steel, mean porosity wed sintered from grains of ceramic or graphitised carbon roasted in electric kilns, low porosity web made from mineral paper or fabric, and mean porosity wed sintered from powders of chemically-and-thermally resistant metals and alloys. Vessel cover and bottom are furnished with branch pipes for filtrate drainage whereto connected are shut-off valves. Vessel comprises also two opposed journals running in antifriction bearings, housings of the latter being bolted to foundation. It incorporates also branch pipe to discharge solid substance sediment arranged on vessel cylindrical surface. Blank flange is secured to that of branch pipe. Flange is equipped with motor and two-stage screw reduction gear, its shaft being coupled by flexible coupling with vessel journal.
EFFECT: efficient separation of suspensions.
