FIELD: chemical technology, inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: parent chemical compound - copolymer of organometallic compounds of tantalum and niobium is heated in autoclave to copolymers degradation point for individual monomers - organometallic compounds of tantalum and niobium that interact with oxygen and form oxidized organometallic compounds of tantalum and niobium and converted at heating to vaporous state. Then the obtained mixture of vapors is cooled to condensation point of oxidized organometallic compound of niobium and niobium-containing liquid phase is obtained. Vapor-gaseous mixture containing oxidized organometallic compound of tantalum is placed in apparatus fitted with heat-exchange device where mixture is cooled to normal temperature and tantalum compound is obtained at solid state. Invention ensures to obtain chemically pure compounds of tantalum and niobium. EFFECT: simplified technology, decreased cost, improved ecology. 1 ex, 2 dwg
