FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, chemically active material and electrodes made of different metals and dipped in mentioned material are used for electric power generation. Chemically active materials used for the purpose are polymeric organometallic compounds of tantalum or niobium, or their copolymers incorporating tantalum, niobium, oxygen, carbon, and chlorine which are placed in hermetically sealed steel vessel and heated to temperature higher than point of polymeric compound disintegration into separate monomers; electrodes are essentially thermocouples whose hot junctions are dipped in molten organometallic material and cold ones are brought outside and function to connect loads. EFFECT: increased number of power generation processes.
