FIELD: processes for joining T-pieces or branch pipes with pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: hoop includes protection ring having upper and lower parts, both provided with annular grooves. Said groves are mutually connected by means of large number of ducts passing from one groove to another groove through ring. Sealing composition is introduced through opening provided in wall of hoop or formed in it. Annular seal of rubber or metal-polymer composition is used.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of securing hoops to pipelines.
