FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed electric power station contains air pressure device and turbine of electric generator. Air pressure device is made in form of coil consisting of risers in heat-resistant envelopes and downtake pipes in heat-permeable envelopes laid in parallel, for instance, along slopes of mountains and series-interconnected at tops. Air heaters are installed at inlet sections of risers with heating temperature higher than temperature of medium surrounding the coil, and heat exchangers with ambient medium cooling carriers or secondary power sources consumers are installed at inlet sections of downtake pipes. Inlet end of coil is connected in parallel with air intake and air pressure charger through shutoff gates, regulating valve is installed at outlet of coil to control flow, and turbine of electric generator is furnished with heater and is connected to air duct from side of outlet of air pressure device.
EFFECT: increased power and improved efficiency of electric power stations using atmospheric air pressure differences.
