The locking-up mechanism is cocked in a pistol holster by pressing on the handle of the pistol with following turning the pistol around the locking-up mechanism rest. At that the barrel rest pushes the cocked locking-up mechanism from its rest and it comes back in its initial state. In the process of its motion the locking-up mechanism pulls the front and the rear walls apart. At the end of the pistol escaping out of the body of the holster the rolling-contact bearings elastically acting on the locking-up mechanism, push it from the body. The invention increases the ease of the pistol holster handling and reduces time necessary for the pistol bringing in the combat position.
