FIELD: defense industry; production of ammunitions for the small arms.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of defense industry, in particular, with production of armor-piercing bullets ammunitions for the small arms. The invention is intended to inflict losses to the enemy personnel equipped with individual armor protection means. The bullet contains: a stepwise mantle having a front, a master and a tail parts; a mounted in it armor-piercing core with its nose part protruding out of the mantel; a jacket. The armor-piercing core is fixed on the inside surface of the mantel tail part. Behind the ogival part of the armor-piercing core on it there is a ring-type groove milling, in which the front part of the mantle is located. At that a diameter of the groove milling is made equal to 0.93 - 0.96 of the armor-piercing core diameter. Use of the invention allows to exclude the possibility of break-up of the elements of the bullet at a striking the enemy personnel not protected by a personal protective equipment.
EFFECT: the invention allows to exclude the possibility of break-up of the elements of the bullet at a striking the enemy personnel without individual means of protection.
