FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with elaborating biologically active substances of gerontoprotective properties. It includes an active component chosen out of some apicultural products and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. As active component it is used either alcoholic, predominantly 10-15%- or oily, predominantly 1-3%-propolis solution irradiated with electromagnetic field of optic range of frequencies at wave length being λ=300-450nm and power of light flow being 50 W/cu. cm, not less. In the method to obtain the above-mentioned composition of gerontoprotective properties one should apply alcoholic, predominantly 10-15%- or oily, predominantly 1-3%-propolis solution irradiated with electromagnetic field of optic range of frequencies at wave length of λ=300-450nm. Moreover, irradiation should be conducted at the power of light flow being not below 50 W/cu. cm, and at packaging ready-to-use product it is necessary to apply darkened materials. This enables to increase the number of preparations based upon apicultural products being efficient in geriatric practice and create composition based upon propolis being of high gerontoprotective properties.
