FIELD: chemical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is designated for preparing polyoses methyl esters from aspen wood that can be used as a binding agent in industry for enhancement of oil layers output and others. Method for preparing methylated polyoses from aspen wood involves treatment of air-dried aspen wood with sodium hydroxide 40% an aqueous solution in the ratio 1 g : 11 ml for 1-21 h at room temperature to form alkaline wood. Then alkaline cellulose is filtered, squeezed and dried up to air-dried state and then alkaline wood is subjected for intensive grinding in ball mill for 1.5 h in dimethylsulfate medium with addition of isopropyl alcohol or without the latter. Invention allows using all wood complex without cellulose being without preliminary it separating for components (cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin) but the end product has no lignin after methylation process.
EFFECT: improved preparing method.
