SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bridge metallocene compounds consisting of indenylcyclopentadienyl groups of the formula (I): , wherein R₁ and R₂ mean hydrogen atom (H), linear, branched, cycloaliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon (C₁-C₂₀)-group, any adjacent pairs R₃, R₄, R₅, R₆ are joined with formation of saturated or unsaturated cyclic (C₄-C₂₀)-structure including the bond of cyclopentadienyl ring; M means zirconium; X₁ and X₂ mean anion bound with metal M, or they are bound to one another with formation of (C₄-C₇)-cycle. Indicated compounds can be used successfully as components of catalyst used for polymerization of olefins.
