FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises setting a vibration pickup in the zone of intershaft bearing. The inner shaft of the rotor is fixed in the periphery direction, the outer shaft is set in rotation up to a given speed, the spectrum of vibration signal is recorded, and resonance frequencies are determined. After the stop of the outer shaft, the measurements are repeated at two or more periphery positions of the inner shaft of the rotor and operation condition of the bearing is determined.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of prediction.
