SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing protein/factor for inhibition of osteoclastogenesis (OCIF) and can be used for treatment and immunological diagnosis of diseases accompanying with bone resorption. Protein OCIF with molecular mass about 60 kDa under reduction conditions with amino acid sequences SEQ ID NO. 1, 2 and 3 is prepared by transformation of host-cell with vector comprising cDNA encoding this protein. Protein OCIF as a component of pharmaceutical composition is used in methods for treatment of osteoporosis, treatment/improvement of bone mass recovery and in method for treatment of injure associated with osseous metabolism. Invention provides preparing a novel protein that inhibits formation of osteoclasts effectively.

EFFECT: improved preparing method, valuable biological and medicinal properties of protein.
