FIELD: manufacture of blades of modern turbines of nickel base refractory alloys for gas-turbine engines and gas-turbine plants.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes ceramic mold having in base seed cavity with monocrystalline seed having predetermined crystallographic orientation. After seed cavity starting cavity and working cavity are arranged successively. Working cavity is designed for forming blade having vane, lock wing, lock portion and head portion. Starting cavity is connected with lock wing through additional runners along inlet and outlet edges of vane. Monocrystalline structure grows from seed into starting cavity, then into vane and into side runners. Through runners microcrystalline structure grows to edges of lock shelf preventing formation of foreign crystals in those zones. Runners may also connect lock wing with head portion.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of monocrystalline blades.
