FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to casting and can be implemented at production of, for example turbine blades, spacers, flaps, parts of nozzle appliances etc, of modern gas turbine engines and gas-turbine installations out of nickel heat proof alloys. The device for production of a cast with at least one flange and a shear drag consists of a ceramic mould. In a base of the mould there are successively made a seeding cavity with a mono-crystal seed of specified crystal direction placed into this cavity, a conic start-up cavity and a cavity of the mould forming a cast. The start-up cavity is connected to the flange of the cast, while runners connect the start-up cavity with edges of one of the cast flanges. The forming cast cavity and runners are made at angle 10-45° to axis of the shear drag and to the direction of cast crystallisation.
EFFECT: increased output of accepted mono-crystal casts due to reduced micro-porosity in thin cross sections.
