FIELD: navigational instrumentation engineering; distant-reading magnetic compasses with electronic digital transmission of heading information.
SUBSTANCE: proposed magnetic compass has body filled with magnetic fluid, magnetic sensitive element with magnetic system, two-component induction converter located in magnetic field of magnetic sensitive element coaxially relative to it and semi-circular deviation compensator located symmetrically relative to magnetic sensitive element and induction converter. Distance between center of crossing of axes of symmetry of magnetic system of magnetic sensitive element and center of crossing of axes of signal windings of induction converter is determined from mathematical dependence of parameters of magnetic sensitive element, induction converter and others.
EFFECT: independent record of semi-circular deviation, possibility of elimination of deviation both automatically or manually.
